HMS Northumberland (F238)

 

HMS Northumberland was built at Swan Hunters in Wallsend. The contract was awarded in December 1989 and the keel laid in April 1991. The ship's sponsor. Lady Kerr, launched her in April 1992.

HMS Example (P165)

HMS Example was built by Watercraft Ltd, Shoreham in 1985. The ships main role is to provide Navigation, Seamanship and general Naval Training in support of Northumbrian Universities Royal Naval Unit (URNU). She is one of 16 Fast Training Craft of the P2000 class
